Refund and Cancellation Policy
Two things get cancelled here: passenger tickets, and BusGrid subscriptions.
Draft, last updated 9 August 2026
Passenger ticket cancellations
Each operator sets its own cancellation and refund rules for its trips. Those rules are shown to the passenger before payment and again at the time of cancellation. When a passenger cancels within the allowed window, the refund is calculated by the operator's rule and returned to the original payment method through the payment gateway.
Refund timelines
Approved refunds are initiated at once, or within the operator's stated window. The gateway and the passenger's bank then take their normal time, usually five to seven working days, to credit the amount. BusGrid does not hold passenger refund money.
Failed payments and duplicate charges
If money is deducted but the booking did not confirm, the amount is auto-reversed by the gateway. If you see a duplicate charge, contact support with the booking reference and we will trace it with the gateway.
BusGrid subscription
Platform plans are flat and monthly, with no setup fee and no long lock-in. You can cancel before your next billing date to stop future charges. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded, except where the law requires, because the service was available to you for that period.
Hardware
GPS trackers and cameras follow the return and warranty terms in your hardware order, which are separate from ticket and subscription refunds.
How to request
For a subscription or billing question, contact [email protected]. For a ticket refund, use the manage-booking link on the ticket or contact the operator.
